Blast from 2008 - A Blanket Chest

Here is another Blast from the Past - I wanted a chest/bench for our entry way so a blanket chest seemed like the best option. This is one of my earlier projects and was before I made the transition to hand tools though I was seriously hand tool interested. Ultimately the chest stores our board games and the seating is for guests to remove or put on shoes (we don't were shoes in the house).
