Blast from 2016 - A Watch Case

Another Blast from the Past - after making Kathy a Jewelry Box, I thought it would be nice to make something that could hold my watch collection (sadly I don't wear them anymore since I have an Apple Watch) but it's a nice display.

Material Prep - resawing to get desired thickness
Resawed boards ready for flattening and final thickenessing
Thickenessing, Power planer does rough work and finished surface done with hand planes
Working on dovetails, of course
Grooves for shelves
Cutting up some spalted wood for lid and drawer fronts
Cool wood
Finished case
