Blast from 2018 - Traveling Toolkit

Here is another Blast from the Past - I read Tom Fidgen's book Made by Hand which aligned with my approach to woodworking and he a super interesting project in the book. A Toolbox.
I modified the design a small bit (add a drawer and increasing the size to fit my desired tool set. It turned out great and I use it for nearly every teaching session.

The plans with my adjustments
Gathering the lumber
Prepping boards
Glue up of the back
Flattening the board
Main carass
Dovetails (can you guess why I liked Tom's design?)
Fitting carcass together
Grooves for internal components
Front piece above drawer
Internal piece (where the saws will be mounted
Top tray (above where planes will be)

Working on handle, and accents (Wenge)

More dovetails (half-blind this time)

Wheeled base (it will be heavy when loaded)
